I got my first Jeep in '89, a hard top
Wrangler. Lifted it 3" no other mods.
My first CJ was an '84 with some real
badly done mods. My current CJ7 is all
original Renegade with 44k miles.
My
son and I are about to impart on a
frame-off project. Lift, 350c.i. Chevy,
fuel injection, paint, bumpers etc.

| cshutchinson 08/31/2009 4:32 PM My frame was actually already 4
sided, so boxing wasn't required.
See my original pics. My NV3550 is
a 5sp manual transmission. The
only gotchas in this project were
the drive shafts. For me, I had to
get custom Tom Woods shafts with a
double cardon in the rear. The
wedges in the spring packs 'for my
configuration' are 12 degree to
align everything with my transfer
case. I have a one inch drop with
custom steel brackets on the
tcase.
Hope this helps a little. Good
luck. |
