JEEP HISTORY
This is my first jeep and I bought her for
$900 with 197xxx miles and no interior
past the driver seat. The previous owner
was a mechanic and the guys around the
shop apparently called it the "Jeep
pick-up" due to their resemblance.
The very next weekend I spent about 6
hours searching and pulling parts from
Shorty and Dave's U-Pull It in King of
Prussia; and spent the afternoon
installing everything. I have also: fixed
the stereo to working order until I
replace everything in one swoop, repainted
all the gray exterior plastics (they look
great now by the way!), buffed out the
headlights, and detailed it head to
toe. The next few maintenance things that
need to get done are: replace the
crankshaft position sensor, new drive
front u-joint, repair some dents and fix
some rust spots as best I can. Once
everything on the maintenance side is done
and she is running as close to 100% as I
can get her this how I plan to start my GC
off- A set of 30' wheels and tires, I
have done zero research on them so far,
all I know is that I want an aggressive
pattern on a wide tire. The V8
"budget lift", I'm not
interested in lifting my Jeep 5 inches if
it doesn't add any ground clearance, I'm
practical. A SWEET roof rack! I think
Grand Cherokee's look so awesome with roof
racks and spot lights!
