JEEP HISTORY
I've always liked Jeeps. After living in
Japan for 4 years and practically NEVER
seeing an American made vehicle I had a
plan... Every vehicle we've owned has
been a Jeep since returning. Love them.
Cheap to maintain. Inexpensive parts.
Easy to maintain. A blast to drive. Go
ANYWHERE! Top down/top up. Make your own
roads... Need I go on? Had a 4 door XJ
a 2 door, also have a '94 Grand Cherokee-
5.2 and it looks and drives like new. Had
a YJ that was a daily driver and also
rather a monster. LT1 350, TPI'ed,
cammed, Magnaflow (sounds awesome),
4.11's, 242 tcase, Turbo 700R4, TracLock
rear, TrueTrac front, HD axles... This
can go forever... The new Scrambler is
a radically made-over ''77 CJ7. The frame
is hybridized- set up for 4 corner coils
with, yes, unbelievably, double Johnny
Jointed short arms- not long arms... It
is all on top of 1 Ton Ford axles being
driven by a Ford 5.0, NP435, NP205
driveline. I using an aluminum tub and it
is all sitting on Goodyear Wrangler MTRs
with Kevlar mounted on bored out H2 rims.
