I got my first Jeep as my 16th birthday
present. It was a 1993 ZJ V8 that my dad
bought back in aug. '92...and have been
hooked ever since. I started with audio
mods then upgraded the suspension. I made
my own custom one due to funds of a
college student. Rancho 3in front coils
with teraflex BB(Front and REAR) and took
the OE front shocks and put them in the
back. Put 31in pro comp Xterrain tires and
the list goes on over 5g’s now, but sad to
say I still have it but its in need of
cylinder heads(and I cant stomach paying
4-500 a piece). I bought my first CJ7 in
2002-03, 1980 CJ7 4spd 2in lift and then
in 2004 bought a 77 CJ7 levis ed. 3spd. I6
lifted it 6in total 4in skyjacker 2in
shackles, 31in BF’s. but with CJ7 being so
insane with repairs and cost of the
rebuild getting way to high I sold off all
my CJ7 in 2007.
MY current projects
are
1993 ZJ for my moms birthday(I have
till January 16th 2011) and this thing
need WORK!!! But for 300 bucks and a reman
engine with 35,000 miles.
1993 ZJ for
the trail…this is the one with the whole
top of the eng off….lol. wonder if it will
even start with new cylinder heads and its
been sitting since 2005. I do have the
open eng covered and I put clean oil in
the cylinders(thick oil not that thin
crap).
