JEEP HISTORY
Bought a lemon in 2006...a 2006 Pearl Blue
TJ Columbia Edition. Picked up a 2001
2.5l with a ton of mods (33's, 4"
pro-comp lift, engine mods, 4.88's), but
the guy before me beat the **** out of it
and I didn't want to drop more $ in it.

I don't remember if I replied to your note or not. I get about 16 mpg with my set-up.

Paul.

I don't have that much power out of my 2.5. I still have to change between 4th and 5th gear on the highway, and usually don't go faster than 65. Faster than that and it gets even more "twitchy". I think it just runs as good as it can (it tries). My 33" tires are 33x11.5 all terrain type, so if you're running 33x12.5 and a heavier mud tire, that might be dragging you down. Good luck. Paul.
