So if you haven't already replaced your Exhaust Manifold get ready I hear its a reoccuring thing with Jeeps. The manual says to remove all sorts of unneeded things. All you have to do is remove the air filter tube and the peice above the throtle body.Flathead screwdriver, and thats done. Now to remove the Manifold its self you need ratchet, extentions, (more the one makes this easy), 9/16 or 14mm sockets and wrench(s) (depends how rusty mine was more 9/16.) Even the exhaust tube the manifold is bolted to is 9/16. After unbolting slide it out the bottom of the jeep past the exhaust a little tricky but it is possible it took me a few twist and turns just yank it it will come right out. Slide the new one in put in the Gasket with rtv silicone to hold it in place **** I cut the parts needed for the exhaust manifold away from the parts for the intake manifold, this eliminates taking off the power steering pump, injectors, fuel rail, and intake manifold.
