Yeah, Temple of the Dog is so old-school and Maynard is a bad-ass! I just remembered I forgot Queens of the Stone Age, Josh Homme (singer/guitarist) used to be the lead guitarist of Kyuss. IM your email and I'll send you a couple of choice tracks!

I hear you about heaven away from work - I work on an oil rig offshore for half the time - it is just like being in prison for half my life! lol Insurance company??? Sounds very interesting!!! lol

Lol, Love RHCP - so many great memories! In highschool we actually used to skip class to a spot under a bridge to listen to "under the bridge"! Musically, I'm all over the place, too - my absolute favs lean somewhat harder and eccentric - Kyuss (met John Garcia, singer, in Germany/Montreal), Fu Manchu and Monster Magnet. If you like Chevelle and Tool you should check those guys out. I could recommend a couple of favs to you.

Interesting note: the first CDs I ever bought were Soundgarden "Badmotorfinger" and Tool "Undertow". Before that it was all tapes! lol

Where do you work??

Agreed completely. Only a couple of songs on the new AIC are 'alright,' but as usual nothing else compares to the good ol' grunge scene of days gone by... the 'Dirt' album rules entirely - I'm just finishing a beer and going to play "Would" and "Rooster" on Rock Band 3. Any other bands you like?

Lol, yeah, Chris' stuff is always great. What do you think of the relatively 'new' AIC? It was so sad that Layne passed away. Think that they did a great job on the last album, tho.

All we have to do is resurrect Kurt Cobain and we'll have the Seattle scene back!
