A nice septuagenarian T-boned my Quattro
and killed it. I wasn't feeling another
German car, so I took the insurance money
and bought the YJ Rio Grande. New Bestop
soft top, old bikini/duster/windjammer,
new trail cover. 4" Rough Country
lift with nice 15x8 sparkly alloys.
Neoprene front seat covers, rusted out
twin-tube bumpers with Reese. The lower
front bumper tube was so rotten I just
knocked it off with a 2lb hammer. Newer
CD player. Fixed a small rust-through on
the driver side floor pan with sheet metal
from a folding chair and some rivets.
Sway and front/rear track bars are gone.
Tows my little 4x8' trailer to the
campsite great! Rugged Ridge matte black
nerf bars. Gibson cat-back exhaust sounds
awesome (roars when you floor it) and
looks damn sexy.
