JEEP HISTORY
I've loved off-roading since the first
time my Uncle took me out in his '89 Jeep
Wrangler. My first Jeep was a '91
Wrangler which I didn't have much money to
upgrade, but still served me well on many
off-road camping trips and outings. After
it was stolen, I replaced it with a '98 TJ
and enjoyed many more years of
off-roading. I briefly owned a '92 XJ
when the TJ was out of commission with an
electrical issue. In 2009, I bought a '08
Grand Cherokee CRD for a daily driver so I
could build up the TJ, only to discover
that the WK has great power and off-road
capability in it's own right. I've begun
to upgrade the WK to be an expeditionary
vehicle for use along with an Adventure
Trailers mule conversion. Most of my
early 4 wheel driving took place in
Mojave, Big Bear and other desert areas of
Southern California, and the Sierra Nevada
mountains. I've never been on any
particularly famous trails, but hope to
visit Moab and the Rubicon at some point.
These days I'm exploring trails that the
PNW has to offer.
