Started in High School (95-99) with many
buddies buying Jeeps, Toyota Pick-ups and
other 4WD vehicles. I actually bought a
Musatng GT which I still have. But, in
the mid-late 90's there were many places
in Harford County, MD to go wheeling. We
would go out every weeekdn and find
trails, mud etc. Then, at 2am we'd hit up
Denny's and then take the trucks to get
them washed. Then we'd do it again. I
bought my ZJ in Jan 2003, my Senior year
of college. It was a fully loaded Special
Edition, Black with Grey Interior.
Immediately I ordered a 3" lift,
added spacers and threw on 32's. I then
got a little crazy as i started working
full time and had money. The Jeep went
through a few lift variations. In 2006
the engine dies with 180,000-miles on
her. I had a dilema. Since i was not a
fan of the WKs and only liked the '04 WJ i
ended up have a new engine put in. I
added headers, an intake and a new
exhaust. Then, I added a 9" Long Arm
lift from Rusty's Off-Road and 35's. It
was a beast! In Dec 2008 I sold
it. But in Oct 2010 I bought my new
WK2, Limited. no plans to lift this one
anytime soon but maybe in a few years
after I pay it off.
