I bought this new in 2000, did not know
anything about Jeeps. I enjoyed the
convertible top so much I think I have
ruined my hearing from wind noise and tire
hum, I'm sure that 700w amp and dual 10'
drivers has nothing to do with that. I
got stuck several times due to lack of
lockers, small tires, no recovery items;
the last time I wasted the auto
transmission due to it sitting in a mud
hole up to the bumper in water for 7 hours
while I walked out. . . vowed then and
there I would never be caught in a
stock-weak Jeep again. So I started
building, so far I think I have almost as
much money in upgrades as the Jeep cost
new. Now when I say I didn't know
anything about Jeeps that isn't entirely
true; my father had a red Jeep Wrangler;
my brother had a red Jeep Wrangler; and my
sister had a red Jeep Wrangler I guess it
is a family tradition they just never went
past stock high and open diff's.
