if there is a manufacture that claims they have a track bar that will work, I'll never believe it unless one gets sent to me to install and inspect... I actually check this stuff with a centered axle at ride height and the springs out, not a fork lift flex test... of course it won't hit that way. I don't need one BTW, but I could sell a ton of em if there's one out there that works and is strong enough. I'm willing to do the work to get it right..... are you?

That is awesome, ya get smoked by a Lifted rubicon, with offroad tires... that would probably make me sell my mustang..how are the axles and gears going to hold up with the extra torque and hp?

oh now thats sounds like no fun, I hate putting stuff together and then having to re take it apart... I saw that post on that supercharger you put on a rubicon, did you get to drive that?? That looked like it was a fun project. Im also getting pretty antsy to do this highline, another two weeks and Im going to order my shocks..

Sundays work for me, I will be out of town this sunday but what your schedule look like for the following sunday? What do you think i should tackle first, Shock relocation? Rubi Arms? or DIY Highline? Well It all goes for when you have time to.. I think shock relocation and correcting my alignment in the front with those adjustable control arms would be pretty cool, it might ride better and not be so clunky..?

Jvader

Ok so 12 in the front and 14 in the rear, and then just relocate the shocks, man I was was reading those threads and looking more in depth what you made out the Rancho 2.5 and its just got me itching to do the same.. especially that i can keep my 35s.. when do you useally have spare time??

Jvader
09/21/2009 8:23 PM

So I have been reading a lot of your threads online you seem to be some sorta DIY Highline, shock upgrade, King, or something, Ive got the itch, yet I know its for use and not looks but Im still want to make it look clean, I don't like the bent fender thing in the front, I guess just because my arent abused yet, but I did really like the DIY tube fender one you did, do you have any more pics of that? or pics of the cutting instead of bending? anyway this has all been on my mind and I would like to do it before the sun goes away and the mud comes in cause I want to do some trails this winter..and shocks Ive been looking at shocks what length do I need again front to back.. I think I might want to get some decent ones, and I have those Rubi front arms,******that's a long list, Shocks relocated, Rubi arms, and DIY highline... man it would be cool to flex like yours though and I disconnected that front sway bar, its seems nice, although with new rear end I haven't hit the freeway yet... well let me know your thoughts and availability

So I could just sell the 35s and get 33s and it would have a lot more travel, and still be geared out ok? thats what i would like to do mabye I will see if someone will trade me on craigslist or something?

Jvader

Jvader
