I found this Jeep In NNY and it was not
running. I got an itch for a 4x4 and my 97
Silverado 2x4 was no cutting it in the
winter up here. So I traded this guy my
2x4 silverado... which was mint and from
Alabama and had no rust, new transmission,
and 30000 on the crate 305 for my 1991 YJ
4x4 and a 95 S-10 4x4 "rust
bucket". Everyone at work says I
stole the Jeep from him. hahaha! He bought
this jeep from a guy who bought it from a
guy in So Cal. The YJ has no rust and the
Frame still has the paint on it... which
is not heard of up here. the YJ didn't run
when I got it so I did some trouble
shooting and found that the grounds were
corroded and the fuel pressure Regulator
O-Ring had gone bad. I fixed these things
and soaked the Cylinders in oil and PB
Blaster and she fired right up. I picked
up the Jeep in early Dec 2008 and I have
been Driving it as my DD. I have bought a
Hard Top and still trying to find some
hard doors to go with it. the Jeep didn't
have a hardtop on before so I had to wire
it in and drill the mounting holes for it
in the window frame. Thats it for now but
coming soon is the 350 Swap!
