JEEP HISTORY
well, it all started when I was home from
flight school for christmas, and a buddy
of mine wanted to meet up and go down to
NYC, so I hopped in his 84 CJ7 and off we
went. No seatblet on the passenger side,
overweighted in the rear and driving
liking a penny-racer, during a horrendous
rainstorm, we were hydroplaning like a
champ and the engine quit. We coasted off
the interstate doing 60 mph, coasted
through a red light and came to a stop, me
clutching the roll bar for dear life. A
year later I bought the jeep from him and
started a frame-up rebuild. It's been 6
years now and just finishing it (lots of
work stuff stopped me from finishing it
sooner.)
