No problem! I realized after
talking with Jeff that I saved him
over $100. I hope he enjoys that
I can't view that youtube vid here
at work (restricted) but I'll
check it out later tonight. Hope
you are doing well!

Hey bro, looking over your jeep
profile and didn't realize
cherokee's came with a V6 LOL..
you might want to update that.

I sanded rust off of the bottoms
of the doors, the rockers, and the
rear quarters, then I coated them
with herculiner bedliner.

Well it would be best to wait
until you have the $$ to do it the
right way this time. Don't worry
about the TC drop, I will custom
one for you if needed. just get
the rear leafs and sway bar links
and I'll just give you my front
coils. You owe me pizza.

We'll worry about the brake line
extensions after we install the
lift. I have over 4" of suspension
lift and still didn't need to
extend mine. You will need some
longer front and rear sway bar
links and maybe a rear track bar
The transfer case can be dropped
by using washers so you won't need
to worry about ordering a TC drop
kit either. Don't worry so much, I
know what you'll need when the
And I'm not sure about "Quadratec
leaf springs". Quadratec is a
distributor of many offroad parts
and they sell brands such as OME,
RE, Currie, ect ect. I'm not sure
if you are buying "quadratec's"
brand or another brand through
them.. but just call me later in
the week before you buy anything.
I'm sure I can find you a better

IPF conversion kit to be exact =D
10/06/2009 3:39 PM
You still coming home this
weekend? We still doing the lift
on Sat? BTW - I bought a
headlight conversion kit as well
as some Hella black magic aux
lights to install this weekend

October 10th should work out good
to install your lift. Also, the
cliffs is a really fun but very
agressive terrain park which your
xj would do fine but you don't
have a lot of experience and some
of these trails even made me
nervous. You are more then
welcome to come with us sometime
but you will need to be careful
and take it easy that's for sure.
09/26/2009 1:12 AM
Thanks bro! I thought so myself
09/23/2009 10:30 PM
Yeah it was cool having you visit
and help out with aligning the
motor.. i wouldnt have been able
to do it w/ out ya! We can rent a
compressor at Murrays.
09/23/2009 10:15 PM
I'm not sure about going now but
I'll let you know about the
following weekend! I would
definately help you with your
lift. How's the steering
09/23/2009 11:42 AM
I did trim my front and rear
fenders and I'm running 31's now.
08/29/2009 12:47 AM
pm me about it.
08/28/2009 5:33 PM
The pics you sent me look really
good! They look a lot better
closer up that's for sure!
These will probably be better for
you anyway since you will be on
the road 95% of the time and will
only be doing some light
offroading. Just make sure you
stay away from mud... Those tires
have a good tread pattern design
for an AT but they won't paddle
you through anything really
Overall it looks great! Those
black rims w/ offsets really make
a HUGE difference and your jeep
has been totally transformed with
just that alone!
Now you need that lift installed!
My friend Mike from Salem is
helping me install my RC 3.25"
next weekend. I'll ask him if he
would want to do your as well. He
will charge around $200. This way
all three of us can work on it and
you'll get some good hands on
experience on how to start doing
things yourself =)
08/28/2009 3:50 PM
I really like the black rims a
alot!! You'll have to take some
pics and show me the tires and
wheels up close!
Those 29s look really good with no
lift but I just don't know
though... with you adding the 2"
lift and only running 29s I think
that's a little small. Isn't that
what comes stock? I still think
you should have paid the extra $$
and went with 30s but as long as
you are happy that's all that
