My family owned a 1983 CJ7, bought brand
new, when I was 13 yrs. old. It was a
second vehicle, used by my Dad to take us
deer hunting, and then my Mom would take
us to school in it during the week. It was
handed down to my older brother when he
started driving. He left to serve in the
US Marines, was in a a fatal accident, and
my parents sold the Jeep. 10 years later I
bought the Jeep back, lifted it, drove and
enjoyed it, then sold it back to my dad,
which in turn he sold it to my friend, and
then it got sold again and was never
found. Now I have my own 1981 CJ7. I
bought it for keeps, and it'll never be
for sale by me.
