Always had a thing for Cherokees. Finally
fate decided to send one my way through
some interesting circumstances. Kept it
stock until May of 2008, wherein I made it
the beast it is. It's an ongoing build,
much like a canvas that will never be
fully painted.

So, I'm out of the Marine Corps. I will be attending
Wyotech in Dec for collision refinishing, and other
metalworking stuff. I drove my Jeep from CA to NC with
no issues, even with it loaded down with 1000lbs worth
of stuff. Averaged 19.9 mpg. Spent 3 weeks in NC,
swapped out the front axle with a non disco with
matching gears. Then drove to FL. Again, no issues.
Although, I do have to say that the axle swap was a
pain in the butt. I had to swap steering knuckles and
wheel bearings in order to make it work. The axle I
put in came from an auto with abs, and the calipers
wouldn't work with my existing brake setup. Hence the
knuckle swap....
