JEEP HISTORY
Got the 5.9 last year of highschool,
supercharged had intake and exhaust, 4
lift and MFG MT 33's and just loved it!
Drove it for a few years then I bought a
2001 TRD Tacoma put a 3 OME lift on that
truck and 33's and some armor, wheeled
that for about 5 yrs. enjoyed being
outdoors and that's how I got the start in
off roading. Man I loved the TRD and the
stock off road capability of the truck and
that 3.4 is bulletproof I had a TRD
Supercharger.TRD exaust/TRD Intake (Stock
equipment 4:10/TRD RRlocker, etc) but the
family grew, got a wifey, dogs, kid etc.
and needed more room for the family and to
be able to tow small trailer too! So I
traded the Taco in for the Jeep Overland
Wanted something affordable, good power
but with some goodies and maintain the 4x4
capability. The HO (What I call the Jeep :
) can go just about anywhere I took the
Taco, luv the quadra drive. I put a
3" OME lift and 285/65/17 BFG AT's
and rock sliders. I have been all over
Southern Utah including Moab, Cedar city,
St. George, and most of the Wasatch front
range (Uinta's, UT-Wy boarder) camping,
riding our quads and wheelin'. Now I am
back with a 2013 G.C. yes, G.C. # 3!
Trailhawk and we will get out it on the
trails nothing crazy of course! We Love
the Trailhawk package stock with the
HEMI/QDII/QuadraLift/ORAII ELSD <mopar
rock sliders and the G.Y. silent armors
tires and love the hood sticker and the
gray accenting through out, Jeep did a
great job with this ride. ! Its' not a
rock crawler by any means but does good
for what we need it for and what it is.
Took it to Moab couple times already hit
up and wheeled Fins'n'Things, kanes Creek
crossing, Poison Spider Mesa and Hells
Revenge with the Hawk so far! The Wifey
wheels the Jeep and my son and I spot her
her from the quads. kind of fun load up
Jeep with goodies, dogs, and ride the
quads too, mini safari! The looks we get
on Hells and Kanes Creek were worth a
million bucks, lol, an XJ and ZJ dudes
were waiting at the end of Kane's buy the
last part of the trail worst part IMO,
that Gnarly ledge towards the end of the
trail and the wash out river crossing and
large drop off the cliff..good times
