My oldest brother had an 84 Chief that
was darned tired and rusty that he gave my
son. He told me what a great little
vehicle it was. I had to fix the radiator
and other things so my son had wheels. I
drove it a little while fixing it and my
son did some things in it that were almost
unbelievable to me. I've had 4wd full
sized trucks but the Jeep was so light
that it could go many places a truck
couldn't go. Not to mention the branches
it could fit under. I was hooked. I live
in rural Northern Michigan and in
addition to all the salt they put on the
roads in the winter, they also put brine
on the gravel roads in the summer to keep
the dust down. Can you say rust? In about
2001 I found a 2dr 87 Cherokee with a
blown engine that spent most all of it's
life in Nevada. SCORE.
