I bought my jeep a 1989 wrangler sahara
edition 5spd 258 ci engine with a 2005
tax refund for a total of 1100 dollars it
had no brakes shaked so bad when driven it
was scary ......... i bought brake lines
and fixed for 10 dollars then spat drive
shaft out and replaced u joints and vola !
I had a sick jeep since then i have broke
many things and made lots of changes .
Iv'e owned three jeeps in my lifetime a
1994 cherokee an 1989 commanchee that i
still have ... just waiting to be turned
into a rubicon commanchee forest fire
truck yes its fire engine red and has a
4.0 ho and full skidplates.

Ok here's what im looking for i want anyone out there
with a nice suspension system setup that either mix
,matches parts or was custom fabricated . Iv'e been
considering doing a spring over suspension conversion
for a long time i would love to see pics with diff
shackels/shocks with the spring over done iv'e also
considered moving the rear shackle to the rear bumper
has anyone done this and if so how were the results
anyways there so many ways to build a suspension and
i'd like you to show case yers so i can decide what i
wanna DO THX...

the holidays and what not, besides
I only get weekends to wrench due
to work. Getting closer though,
just need to wire up the new HEI,
plug in a couple of vac lines,
hook up drive shafts, re-install
interior (all of it!), cut
fenders, install LED tails, finish
exhaust, fill it w/ oil, time it,
get it started, break in new cam,
and final tune....
Boy when I say it like that it
seems like it'll still be
awhile.... Happy New Year, all of
the aove are my resolutions! |

jeeps :) as long as they are other
jeep owner hands; had enough of
non-jeepers trying to work on
mine. and yeah, death wobble is
gone. i miss scaring my passengers
with it. haha. |
