JEEP HISTORY
Bought my TJ used at a local lot on July 6
2009. It was a local trade in and had
204,000 miles on it. It was very rough as
it had been broken into and the windows
cut and dash broken up. I have replaced
all the broken items and upgraded several
things. While I had the front end out from
under it I replaced the oil pump, timing
chain and resealed everything on the
bottom. I put a Rubicon Express 4.5 super
flex kit on it with all 8 adjustable
control arms. I also installed a Advanced
Adapters SYE kit and a Tom Woods double
cardan rear drive shaft. I put Old Man
Shocks on all four corners. I have also
installed a Tuffy center console and glove
box. My wife is short so we also installed
a pair of AMP Research Power Steps. I know
these are cheesy to you hard core
off-roaders but they sure are convenient
for daily use. And it is only 4 bolts and
a connector to remove them prior to
off-road adventures.
