When you call any parts store and say "I have a 96 Jeep cherokee"....the will then ask "2 door or 4 door, what engine, 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive....that was a grand cherokee right?"
You know you drive an XJ when...it's a roll of the dice when you drive someone home from work and you go to unlock the passenger door for them to get in but only works when they're lucky.
I'm always like "she doesn't like you" if it won't unlock hah...
When your friend is on his phone and asks you to roll your window up, but its already up, but the bent up door (genius trying to unlock it) doesn't seal all the way.
When you drive 20 miles to your parents house and get there and realize you drove the whole way with the tailgate up because the crappy latch didn't catch.
You know you drive an XJ when you are getting ready to get back to the skeet shooting spot and there is no question who's hauling the guns and all the skeet and shells.
2 weekends in a row, and my dad and brother now see why I got the XJ
you know you drive an xj (or any jeep for that matter) when your mom walks in and asks, "dont you get tired of looking at the same stuff online all the time'' Talking about jeep stuff.
When your XJ gets hit by a volvo while yur at a stop sign and you hit yur head on the door...the paramedics yell at you because while they are trying to see if you are okay your under your jeep seeing what the damage is and if its fixable. Your mad at the dumb driver not because you have a headache but because all your brand new fluids are leaking all over the road and your front wheel is pushed up into the body.
When the stupid insurance hasn't called yet to tell you wether the lady is buying you a new jeep or your old one is getting fixed...and you kinda hope the old one is fixable so you can get it back and build the **** out of it so next time the jeep will win
when you come home from being gone for two weeks and you dont take the nice truck to work but give the jeep the exercise because you feel bad that you haven't driven it
when you plan a project that will take 2 hours, take over 8 and still dont finish, realize in the process you have no idea what your doing and by the end you could do it again in 2 hours.
very true. i seem to be using my offroud lights as high beams and my high beams as low beams now.
