End result is waaaay bigger and better brakes, full crossover steering, and general beefing from inner C's out. It all fits the axle I have (and have the 4.10s for). And as far as I know pretty good up to 35s, which I'm not even up to yet.
Alternative is a bigger housing, which will take serious fab work just to get in. And anything bigger than a 44 would have to be shortened.
Maybe replacing stock **** is the best option right now.
New winch on the way, ordered from Summit, so it should be here tomorrow. Also, I will be going to Silver Lake the weekend of the 4th, so some of you should join.....just saying. Oh, and I am in the market for a car hauler, nothing too crazy price wise.

This is on my wifes wj. After I started looking there was a seperate sheet of paper that stated you had to do it a certain way or could cause severe trans damage. I have changed several and they just pop in. This one wantss to be difficult. Lol
Trying to find a place to mount my CB antenna is proving to be difficult. I don't want anything tacky that just sticks out. Right now I am leaning towards something that mounts to the side mirrors.
I'm not mounting the spare tire.... I'm just hacking up the old tire carrier and using the top half of it to mount to the tub, there is no way my tire will fit on there
I am going to use just this top section, probably slim it down along the red line and just mount it with the two top bolts. I can use the plate to run the antenna thru at the blue dot.
Oh, that old tire carrier. I thought you meant your swing out one.
I did the same, but again with a little piece of angle iron. I routed the wire through the 3rd tail light. Remember you would have to ground the tailgate separately.
That's exactly what I'm looking to do, I'm just going to use the two bolt mounting setup for a more stable mount. I've had the stock tire carrier up for sale since I bought the swing out tire carrier, but had no bites, so I figure I'll just hack it up.
Well, my winch is in, too bad it's already dark out, otherwise I would install it now
