JEEP HISTORY
Hopefully when i graduate i will add a
TERAFLEX PRO LCG 5" SUSPENSION W.
9550 SHOCKS, some 4.88's, ox lockers, a
belly up skid and some 35x12.5 BF's but
that won't be for a few more
years. Bought my jeep when i was a
junior in high skool. It was all stock
with a D44 rear, 30" tires, and only
had 35,000 miles. It was near new and was
6 years old. From there it has become my
lifestyle and way of life and everything
reflects it. Over the past three years of
owing it has grown ans reshaped itself a
couple times never getting old because
before it wears out im replacing it with
more parts. Certainly won't be my last
jeep, but when i grad from college im
going after either a tomb raider and
building it up or going after the last of
the I6 TJ Rubicon's.

Flatlander757 gave me that skid, he painted it with rustoleum hammered silver. It's holding up awesome.

No prob, I'm just another guy w/ a jeep lol.

As for the TC linkage and radiator fan shroud... you will not need to do any adjustments or modifications to them if you do the BL and MML together. If anything, the combo mod will tighten up your linkage so it won't rattle around like it did for mine =)

If you ever wanted to make a trip out here and spend some time wheeling let me know... you could crash at my place no prob!

I'll PM you my # so we can talk more about the BL and MML mod you will be doing soon.

YOU ARE NOT HIRING ANYONE TO DO IT FOR YOU lol.

There are some things that require a certified mechanic.. but then there's other things (like MML, BL, suspension, armor, lights, ect) that anyone can do as long as you have some basic tools and know how to use them.

You NEED to do this yourself and learn your jeep. I promise you it's not hard and I will walk you through it. Too bad you don't live close to IL cause I would come over and help you on a weekend for some beer and pizza. I'll PM you my cell # so you can drop me a call anytime.

There are some things that require a certified mechanic, i agree.. but then there's other things that anyone can do as long as you have basic tools and know how to use them. Think of it this way... anything "bolt on" and / or "replacement" can be done by you.

I definately don't consider myself mechanically inclined by any means, but I have some buddies that are, and I have paid attention over the past years and have learned to wrench on basic stuff throughout time. Now, no one else works on my rig unless it's way beyond my abilities. Just last month I installed a Lock-Right locker in my front D30 axle. Ask me to do that 3 years ago and I wouldn't even know which axle was the D30 LOL haha.

After you start wrenching and doing mods yourself, you will feel a lot better about taking on more difficult mods and really have a better understanding of your rig. It's all a part of owning a jeep and fortunately for us, it's the easiest vehicle to work on =)

Please don't blow your $$. I know for a fact you can do this yourself! It might take you a full day or two but it will be worth it I promise.

Sure... you just need me to walk you through it? There's an awesome youtube video made by rockmen that walks you through it step by step. It helped me with mine.

It's really easy when you think about what's being done... but the driver side mount is a pain to get to. I had to remove the entire motor mount bracket (4 bolts I think) so I could pull out the through bolt on the mount itself. You'll need some socket extensions.

PSC ftw. I love their stuff. When i get around to it i'll be getting their rocker knockers as well.

Haha..my cragars got scratched up nicely from the god damn balancing machine..i was mad. Anyway, my damn mechanic hasn't touched my jeep yet and i got all the parts to him on thursday. He's a really good guy and does a lot of small crap for me for free so i cant really understand why he hasnt messed with it yet.

College is going good so far... Just tired of so much class and studying. I was able to bring my Jeep with me so I've really been enjoying it! Plus being in the mountains of NC there are TONS of trails and waterfalls around.
