I drag raced for years, always looked at
Jeeps and thought I would buy one. Quit
racing after twenty five years and many
national records and wins. All my Jeeps
have been Wranglers starting with 01 tj
sport that had been neglected. After
claening and repairs I sold it to son in
law and bought 04 Unlimited. Then moved on
to 07 X sport. Sold it after it was
damaged by hail. Next was 04 sport(super
nice). Just bought 08 X sport that I
should get this week. Don't Know a lot
about Jeep history, just having fun. No
mods at this time and not many planned at
this time but according to my wife that is
how the drag racind got started.
