Originally had 3.07 gears with stock axles. After
axle swaps- 3.73 gears now
2.25" Skyjacker BBL with Hydro Shocks,
recently swapped stock springs for 2006 LJ
33x12.50x15 (32x11.5x15) Goodyear Duratracs
15x8 Dick Cepek DC2, 3-5/8 Backspace, no rubbing
during steering lock to lock.
Two 10,000Lbs Hooks on front bumper and 7/8"
Stinger bumper built by GCJC member, CCFAB
3" Hoodline tube fenders
Pioneer 5.25 speakers in front, Sony Explode

This is my first Jeep bought it used a few
years ago. It's gone through some changes
since I bought it.
First I did a 2.25"
SkyJacker Budget boost lift with Hydro
shocks, and 33x12.50x15 Duratracs on DC2
Then I replaced the
stock bumper with an AtoZ front bumper
plate ($54) that I used as a Minimal front
bumper for a while, it was 3/16"
steel with pre-drilled holes for mounting
the bumper to my frame, winch mounts,
driving lights and slots pre-cut for
clevis mounts it was very stout and high
quality! I swapped that for a custom front
stinger bumper built by Gulf Coast Jeep
Club (GCJC) members.
The left mirror on
my driver's door broke off (corroded from
salt air), so I took the mirrors off an
old motorcycle that I have (Yamaha 750
Virago) and made some mirror mounts that
mount to the body, now I go door-less and
still have mirrors.
My steering gear
box formed a leak so I did the Durango
steering gear box Mod, (pre-planning for

water vent mod done that brings a vent
line up above the engine, also had a
transmission cooler installed.
that 2 studs had broken off on the Lt side
of the engine where the eng. mount
attaches to the engine, got beefy engine
mounts from Mountain Off Road Enterprises
(M.O.R.E.) that attach with more bolts.
also installed a JKS 1" MML and
1.25" JKS body lift
bearing went bad, messed up the radiator,
water pump and the lower radiator hose,
during replacement of all that, I also
flushed the heater core, now I have
Lady in an SUV hit me in
my jeep, crunched my left front fender, So
I got the insurance settlement and bought
CCFab 3" Hoodline Tube fenders $500
for all 4. Plus LED turn signals and some
offroad LED Kawell lights, and a Novak
cable shifter for the transfer case. Gulf
Coast Jeep Club painted and installed my
tube fenders and LED turn
Right place right time, A
buddy in the GCJC (JRock Designs) was
making custom axles for his 2006 LJ, and
wanted to sell his stock axles so I bought
them. Huge upgrades came with this deal.
His front Dana 30 had a Lokka automatic
locker, outer axle tube seals and 3.73
gears. The rear was a Dana 44 axle and had
disc brakes, factory installed limited
slip, with 3.73 gears, included in the
deal were his stock springs and front
quick disco's. A lot of this was in
preparation for 35" tires that I plan
to get eventually.
I have a few other
goodies- Spyderwebshade, Custom made
parachute cord rollbar grab handles made
by GCJC, Bestop seat covers, &
replace-a-top, Uniden 680 CB, & Wilson
2000 CB steel whip antenna.
