This Jeep sat in the front yard of a house
behind a stand of trees for more than 3
years as my wife and I commuted past it
everyday. It had 2 foot high grass growing
all around it. One day my wife called me
and said, "It's for sale." She

I reached into my pocket (figuratively
speaking) and shelled out $1800.
hooked it up to my wife's 4-Runner, towed
it about 3 miles, got pulled over, issued
a ticket, flat bedded it the remaining 2
miles and pushed it the garage. The
in-law-mechanic swapped out the battery
from his car, squeezed the starter
solenoid and she fired up but sounded like
Six months later, the wife gave
me a credit card and said, "make
every penny count. This card has a limit
and you're driving that Jeep until we can
get a newer one". To do that I went
stock all around and called in alot of
favors. Over the years, though, I snuck in
upgrades as components failed or gave out.
At 20 years old it's still my daily driver
complete with childseat.
