Owned a CJ2A once, 93 XJ is my DD, 98 TJ
is the trail rig. My first run was the
Rubicon 1958. I have had the disease 50
years now. There is no known
cure.
Getting older and hiking is limited
so I built the TJ to go most anywhere. If
I can't hike I drive. If I can't drive I
ain't going! There is the gas thing. My
chief mechanic is a Master Tech and my son
in law. The best of all worlds.
My TJ has
some envy power but a lot of years can
humble you and it is paid for. See you on
the trail.
Rubicon update July 19, 2008,
15.5 hrs from Tahoe City to Auburn Jeep
Club Camp near Loon Lake trail head. This
is a classic and I wish every one has a
chance to experience this one. Minor
carnage right door and fender flair. NBD.
