JEEP HISTORY
I was about 7-8 years old and I would ride
my bike to my cousinís house and one day
when I got there he had a Jeep YJ just
sitting perfectly outside in the front
lawn. And my cousin my Uncle and I all
went for a ride and I was hooked from the
starting of the engine... and then I moved
to Tennessee when I was 20 and I had a
little POS Honda Accord and I traded it
and paid $438.34 for what I believe and
look at as the start of a new beginning
when I bought my first Jeep and it was a
Jeep XJ (Cherokee)!!! And I have to tell
you, I have fallen in love with her and
yes I named her and her name is Rosy! She
has since had a new engine, new 4.5"
Rough Country Suspension Lift, new
batteries, new radiator, new alternator,
new thermostat, new belt, and new tires.
But I drove her down from Tennessee to
Florida with nothing new on her except an
oil change and thermostat and she had a
blown head gasket a blown cylinder so I
was really running on 5 instead of 6the
cylinders and a blown Radiator and she
still made it all the way down without
having to stop. Well except to get gas
lol. And I had to get down from Tennessee
to Florida to get to a hospital and I
believe that, that Jeep (Rosy) had saved
my life that day... getting me where I
needed to be without any problems and
there was so much wrong with her that she
shouldn't of been able to even leave the
city I was living in at the time. That is
what I call a miracle! I just ending up
selling her after about 3-4 years in 2014
I sold Rosy, my XJ. I then bought a 1993
YJ from a good family friend and I
absolutely love her, itís the vehicle I
have always wanted since I saw, and got to
ride in my cousinís when I was a youngen.
And now I am looking for a Jeep Club in
the Fort Myers, Florida area to join so I
can be around other Jeeps and Jeep
enthusiasts and ride in the open country
down back dirt and mud roads. And there it
is y'all, that's the History of me and my
JeepísÖ
